YouSourced · From the makers of Source of You
Our story.
Hiring runs on claims: claims about people, and claims about companies. Most of the industry built on top of it profits from making those claims fuzzier. Listings get re-hosted and go stale. Resumes get inflated by tools that invent on your behalf. And now a new pitch has arrived: pay to measure what AI says about you, then pay to shape it.
We think the durable move is simpler. Keep a source that is true, keep it structured, and serve it. When the answer engines read from a record the person actually maintains, perception stops being something you manage and starts being something you earn.
What we make
Source of You is a professional identity record: one structured record a person builds and owns, and every surface renders from it. The public page, the resume, the answers a page gives when someone asks it a question: all generated from the same record, and nothing is ever invented to fill a gap. Where the record is thin, our tools say so rather than make something up. That refusal is enforced in code, not promised in copy.
YouSourced is the apply side of the same belief. The jobs feed is read from companies' own hiring systems, re-read continuously through the day, every role carrying the board's real date and a link straight to the company's own posting. No promoted listings; ordering comes from the board's dates or from your own record, never from anyone who paid. The monthly Job Report publishes what the feed observed, every number computed from our own ledger and scoped honestly to what we read.
For candidates
Your story stays yours. Building a record is free, and downloading a resume from it is free. The feed is free to browse, no account needed. When you apply through YouSourced, the application is built only from what your record can back: your coverage of a role is shown honestly, gaps included, because a gap stated plainly beats a strength invented for you.
What makes this different
- Every number we publish is checkable. Sources are named, dates are the board's own, and estimates are labeled as estimates.
- Declining beats inventing. A source page answers from the record and declines what the record cannot back.
- No portal between you and the job. Every listing links to the company's own posting on its own system.
- The record is served to the engines that answer for you, in the open, from a page the person controls. We do not sell perception; we keep the source.
