The posting, in Dust's own words
archived Sep 10, 2026About Dust
Work is being rewritten, and the people holding the pen are the ones who actually run it. With enterprise-grade governance, flexible model choice, and a collaborative interface for humans and agents to work together, Dust empowers AI Operators at the world’s fastest-moving companies to rewire how work gets done. With 70%+ weekly active users, people stick with Dust as much as they do with Slack and Notion. We don't get piloted and shelved. We land once, and spread. We're at an exciting stage of our journey, and growing fast. We're serving great customers like Datadog, 1Password, Cursor, Clay, Vanta and Persona, and aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2026. Dust is backed by Sequoia with a determined team of optimists (coming from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford) who like to focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously while doing so. The Generalist named us among the Future 50 .
The Role
This is Dust's first PM hire. You'll work closely with the product team, turning raw GTM signal, company priorities, and user feedback into well-formed problems the team can act on.

What you will change:
A lot of product signal doesn't reach the team in an actionable shape today. You'll create and run the process that connects signal to shaping to prioritization. Implementing company strategies across functions requires ownership and orchestration. You'll translate company priorities into an intelligible, trackable set of product, marketing, and operations initiatives. You'll enrich prioritized projects with distilled business and user context and market perspective so that the people building them make better decisions. Our designers and engineers stay close to product decisions from conception to delivery. You're here to make their context richer and their priorities sharper. You enable distributed ownership, you don't replace it.
What You'll Do
Qualify and synthesize feedback : Sit at the intersection of GTM, users, and product. Turn high-volume, unstructured input into a small set of well-framed problems worth solving. Shape initiatives : Work with engineers and designers to translate validated problems into initiatives ready for Stack Rank — with clear objectives, KPIs, and scope. Drive outcome tracking : Own reporting on whether what shipped actually moved the needle. Feed that back into the next round of decisions. Improve internal coordination : Connect Marketing, Comms, GTM, and Product — reduce the friction that slows things down when multiple functions need to move together. Own outcomes, not outputs : For cross-functional initiatives, you'll own the goal — objectives, KPIs, orchestration, reporting. Own artefacts in the Dust platform (agents, skills, data, etc..) to continuously rewire and augment the above for yourself and the team
