Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built. Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen. If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
The Role
We're hiring our first Manager of Sales & Operations Planning to establish the S&OP function and build the team behind it. You'll design and lead a data driven planning framework that aligns customer demand, supply capability, financial objectives, and operational execution and, critically, determines where across our sites each part is manufactured to best balance capacity, capability, cost, and delivery. The Manager will influence across the executive leadership team and work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to drive enterprise alignment, improve forecast accuracy, reduce volatility, and strengthen execution discipline. This position will have direct report(s) and will be accountable for establishing standard work, governance, analytics, and performance management across the SIOP process. This is equal parts builder and operator. In the first year you'll define the process, select and implement the tooling, and hire the team who will run it at scale to provide a credible answer to "can we commit to this, and what does it cost us?"

What You'll Do:
Build & Lead the S&OP · Build and implement a scalable S&OP process from the ground up across all platforms and sites. · Establish enterprise wide S&OP governance, cadence, standard work, and decision making forums. · Partner with executive leadership to align demand, supply, sales, capacity, and financial plans. · Lead monthly S&OP reviews and ensure clear accountability for actions, owners, and outcomes. · Build and leverage analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to drive fact based decision making. · Establish key S&OP metrics, including schedule adherence, performance, past due, capacity utilization, sellable capacity, network load balance, and supply risk. · Use data to drive executive-level visibility to trends, risks, constraints, trade offs, and the decisions required to keep plans realistic and executable. · Serve as a key integration point between commercial priorities, operational capability, and capacity. Network Planning & Site Allocation Own the site allocation strategy. Determine which site manufactures each part, balancing capacity, capability, lead time, and customer requirements across the network. Build and maintain a network level view of load and capacity across all sites, and dynamically balance demand against available capacity to maximize throughput and on time delivery. Model network capacity scenarios evaluate the impact of demand shifts, new program introductions, and site ramp-ups on where work should flow, and recommend re-allocation ahead of constraints. Partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to understand each site's capability and qualification envelope, ensuring parts are allocated only to sites qualified to produce them. Lead load balancing and reallocation decisions when a site becomes constrained, escalating trade-offs (cost, delivery, risk) to leadership with clear options. Capacity & Constraint Management Define and publish sellable capacity across the network, quantifying open capacity by site over the planning horizon. Communicate where and how much and what type of capacity is available to sell. Partner with Operations leaders to build and maintain capacity models by site, and work center to inform backlogs, and sellable capacity. Translate demand and pipeline scenarios into capacity implications, giving Sales a fast, data-backed answer on what can be committed, when, and at which site People Leadership · Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports responsible for capacity planning, modeling and S&OP execution. · Build organizational capability through talent development, standard work, training, and performance management. · Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
