The posting, in Indigo's own words
archived Oct 12, 2026About Us
We are a small team that cares about deep thinking, speed, craftsmanship, and putting customers first. Our mission is to build the best care experience in healthcare, on a 30 year horizon. We help physicians achieve independence by making it easier to start, operate, and grow their practices. We believe the future of healthcare will be driven by individual physicians, not by large bureaucratic systems. Lowering the barrier to practice ownership lets doctors deliver better care for everyone. The founding team brings deep expertise across medicine, product, operations, and engineering, including more than 30 years of experience running independent practices across urgent care centers, surgical centers, and beyond. We have built 0-to-1 products at Meta, Dropbox, Instagram, Coda, and Nomad, and have founded companies with valuations exceeding $1B and more than 100M MAU.

You might be a fit if you
You are a self-starter with an obsessive drive. You can think independently, and can craft a strategic plan and execute it end-to-end. You are not afraid of complex problems, and can design creative products/solutions to solve them. You have the ability to deal with problems at abstracted level and uncertainty. You are a tinkerer and love building products that delight. You are willing to persevere to take something from great to remarkable. You are a good person to work with. We want to play long-term games with long-term people. You want to build a generational company with a 30-year horizon. We aren’t looking for a quick exit — we want to transform healthcare. Special for this role This is a rare opportunity to be the first strategic finance hire and build the function from the ground up. If you’ve owned forecasting, capital strategy, fundraising, and executive decision support—and want real ownership rather than simply reporting results—you’ll thrive here. Stand up and own the company’s core finance function: forecasting, cash management, dashboards, scenario planning, and capital strategy. Build financial infrastructure to support rapid growth across billing, A/R, A/P, and scaling systems. Partner directly with CEO and other functional leads on capital allocation, and long-term planning. Lead fundraising support: modeling, diligence, investor materials, and market analyses. Create clarity for the leadership team with data: business KPIs, unit economics, and monthly/quarterly reporting. Work cross-functionally with GTM, product, and operations to embed financial discipline and unlock growth. Shape company strategy as a core member of the early team. What You’ve Done Owned or built out finance at a startup, portfolio company, or fund (forecasting, cash planning, ops dashboards, financial systems). Rolled up your sleeves beyond the numbers - partnered directly with GTM, product, or ops teams to help the business run, not just report on it. Experience preparing board materials, managing investor relationships, and supporting fundraising. Strong modeling skills, your work has informed real decisions, not just spreadsheets. Bonus if you’ve spent 1–2 years in tech, a startup, or worked on something entrepreneurial—we value people who can operate, not just analyze.
