As a Jewellery Product Development executive you will play a pivotal role in managing the complete lifecycle of our jewelry collections. You will act as the crucial bridge between CAD designers, our global merchant teams, and factory floor operations. In this fast-paced, high-growth environment, your goal is to ensure that every design is structurally feasible, optimally cost, and meets the stringent export-grade standards required by our global retail customers. Order Execution & Coordination:
Manage end-to-end order timelines across various order types. Raise CADs and POs with manufacturers; review CAD files, calculate quotations, and coordinate seamlessly with QC and logistics partners. Maintain accurate, real-time visibility of order status across all active orders.

Exception Handling & Escalations:
Handle remakes, repairs, resizing, and order modifications with a structured, process-driven approach. Own escalations end-to-end and ensure every exception is documented so it doesn't recur.
Design Team & Factory Coordination :
Coordinate daily with CAD designers and partner factories to ensure structural integrity, correct prong/setting specifications, and manufacturing feasibility before moving to mass production.
Costing & Estimation:
Calculate highly accurate product costing. Comparing and locking the pricing from the factory with the master product list. Flagging inappropriate pricing done by the factory.
Data & System Management:
Manage and maintain comprehensive digital inventory, Bills of Materials (BOM), CAD libraries, and technical product specifications within our ERP and marketplace platforms.
Must Have
3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Product Development, Production, or Merchandising within a fine jewellery manufacturing setup. In-depth technical understanding of gold/platinum metallurgy, diamond assorting, wax finishing, shrinkage, and international hallmarking standards. Exceptional organizational skills with strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with Jewellery ERP software. Strong cross-functional communication skills and a mindset of taking 100% ownership to effectively interact with global teams, artisans, and vendor partners. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent priorities without dropping the ball. Proactive mindset, you flag issues before they escalate and solve problems before they become patterns. Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills. Strong Plus (Good to have but not Mandatory) Experience with automation tools (e.g. Google Apps Script) or working with product/tech teams to build operational workflows. Familiarity with platform-based order management or ERP systems. Experience in a fast-growing or early-stage environment where processes didn't yet exist. Prior work experience specifically within the SEEPZ (Mumbai) export ecosystem. A Diploma or Degree in Jewellery Manufacturing, Design, or Gemology (e.g., GIA, IIG, or IGI). Working knowledge of or familiarity with 3D CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, or MatrixGold. Experience handling Lab-Grown Diamonds (LGD) or catering specifically to US/EU B2B and e-commerce requirements.
