The posting, in Temporal's own words
archived Sep 5, 2026About the Role
AI teams are assembling their stacks from a fast-moving set of best-in-class tools — model providers, agent SDKs, evaluation and observability platforms, cloud services. Temporal is the durable execution layer that ties those pieces together and makes them production-grade. That position is a strategic advantage, and it needs a dedicated owner. As Staff Product Manager, AI Ecosystem , you own Temporal's integrations and partnerships product portfolio — the surfaces where Temporal meets the rest of the AI stack. You'll define how Temporal is better together with best-in-class tools (eg, from OpenAI, Google, AWS, Braintrust, and more), and how Temporal becomes the durable foundation developers reach for from prototype to production. This is a role where shipping the integration code is just the beginning. You'll drive business leverage through the narrative, the reference architectures, the enablement, and the sustained momentum that make an integration matter to customers and to the field. You'll partner with Engineering, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Solutions Architecture, and DevRel to take products to market and drive real adoption. Location: San Francisco Bay Area (strongly preferred); remote (US) considered with heavier travel
What You'll Do
Own the integrations & partnerships product roadmap. Identify, prioritize, and sequence the integrations and partner experiences that make Temporal the execution layer of choice across the AI stack, and make the hard calls about what not to build. Stay in the market daily. Be in customer conversations constantly and track a fast-moving AI tooling landscape. Turn what you learn into a roadmap grounded in real, current user needs. Help define the "Temporal for AI" ecosystem story. Work with cross-functional partners to drive the positioning, reference architectures, and composable building blocks that help AI engineers see how Temporal fits their architecture — prescriptive enough to be useful, adaptable enough to fit their stack. Take products to market with GTM. Partner with internal GTM (Product Marketing, Sales, Solutions Architecture, DevRel) and with partner GTM orgs to launch integrations and drive adoption. Drive internal enablement. Make sure the field knows how to sell, deploy, and support every integration in the portfolio. Help build the demos, talk tracks, and reference materials at the right altitude. Define and track success. Set the KPIs that tell us whether the ecosystem strategy is working. Our priors is that early-stage ecosystem bets are measured by adoption and momentum, not immediate revenue.
