The posting, in Thyme Care's own words
archived Oct 27, 2026OUR MISSION We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond. Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers. As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer. Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.
YOUR ROLE
The Senior Associate, Payer Growth Strategy and Operations will be a key member of our Payer Growth team, providing operational, analytical, and project support across our commercial activities. As Thyme Care continues to grow its payer partnerships and pipeline, this role will help the team manage an increasing volume and complexity of opportunities while maintaining strong visibility, coordination, and execution across the commercial process. This is a highly execution-oriented individual contributor role for someone who is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to work across a broad range of growth priorities. You will support Payer Growth leadership and team members across pipeline management, complex payer accounts, CRM and reporting, account planning, proposals and RFPs, and contracting, while also contributing to growth strategy, partnership development, and other strategic projects as priorities evolve. The role will work cross-functionally with teams including Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Clinical, providing broad exposure to how Thyme Care identifies, develops, structures, and advances complex health plan partnerships. You will have the opportunity to build a deep understanding of Thyme Care’s business and the payer landscape while becoming a high-leverage operational and analytical resource for both the team’s day-to-day execution and its highest-priority growth initiatives.

Build the operating foundation for Payer Growth
Own and continuously improve the team’s commercial operating infrastructure, including CRM tools, dashboards, trackers, documentation, and recurring operating rhythms. Simplify processes and workflows so the team can manage lead flow, active opportunities, late-stage deals, and expansion opportunities with clear ownership and visibility. Maintain accurate, actionable information and surface key milestones, risks, and follow-up items for team and leadership reviews.
Support priority payer accounts and partnerships
Help develop and execute account plans by organizing objectives, open opportunities, key initiatives, and next steps for priority payer relationships. Build stakeholder maps that capture decision-makers, influencers, relationships, and engagement history across complex payer organizations. Research payer strategies, executives, market dynamics, and business priorities, and prepare meeting briefs, account summaries, presentations, and executive materials. Support existing partnerships and expansion initiatives that require coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Coordinate proposals contracting and sales enablement
Support RFIs, RFPs, proposals, presentations, diligence requests, and other payer-facing materials from initial planning through submission. Coordinate inputs, owners, timelines, open questions, and approvals across complex commercial and contracting processes. Maintain reusable proposal responses, case studies, proof points, templates, and other commercial content, and identify ways to make recurring work more efficient.
Advance growth strategy and special projects
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform new partnerships, market expansion, account prioritization, and other growth decisions. Research health plans, market segments, competitors, industry trends, and potential partners, then translate findings into clear recommendations and materials for internal decision-making. Turn strategic priorities into structured workplans, analyses, and deliverables; coordinate execution across the relevant stakeholders; and take on special projects as team and business priorities evolve.
