ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Legal Operations Engineer to join our rapidly growing team on-site in Costa Mesa, California. This is a hands-on technical execution role where you’ll serve as the operational backbone for the Legal Department’s technology ecosystem for our fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team. You will spend real time in Jira, Airtable, Foundry, our CLM, and the seams between them. Expect to move between a same-day fix for a business partner who can't get a document routed, a data cleanup across a few thousand contract records, and a configuration change that shaves a step out of an approval chain. You will become a member of the team who knows how every one of these systems actually behaves, not just how it is supposed to work, which is the foundation for designing the next generation of them. As you build that fluency and demonstrate technical judgment, the work shifts from maintaining to building: scoping requirements, designing automated workflows, and eventually taking point on new system implementations as this function grows. If you are scrappy, technically curious, allergic to manual work a machine could do, and comfortable being the person who gets pinged when a workflow breaks, this role is for you.
