The Role
We are looking for a senior backend developer who enjoys building resilient, low-latency, and high-throughput systems at scale. Within our Pricing service team, you will design and implement the mission-critical core engines that ingest usage telemetry, evaluate dynamic pricing models, enforce feature entitlements, and power cost analytics dashboards for enterprise customers.
The work you’ll do
Design and implement critical, high-performance microservices to process, aggregate, and reconcile usage telemetry at massive scale with exact-once processing semantics. Evangelize best practices in distributed database usage, stream processing, and event-driven end-to-end architecture. Set an example for, mentor, and grow your teammates across engineering initiatives. Recognize and take action to improve system reliability, developer work environments, and pipelines. Write clean, understandable, fault-tolerant, and testable code for billing-critical systems. Provide thoughtful feedback on technical designs, data schemas, and code reviews of peers. Manage individual project priorities, architecture decision records (ADRs), deadlines, and deliverables. Document development procedures, metering contracts, system concepts, and domain knowledge. Build, launch, and maintain business-critical backend services in production across multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Help define a fun, inclusive, and execution-driven engineering culture.
