The Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Academy Engineer who can translate complex Cognite technology and real-world implementation practices into engaging, practical, and scalable learning experiences. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other subject matter experts to understand what customers and partners need to know, identify learning gaps, and turn that knowledge into high-quality training courses, hands-on exercises, labs, demonstrations, and instructor-led programs. This is a highly collaborative role with significant ownership. You will not simply be handed a curriculum to deliver. You will help shape what we teach, how we teach it, and how learners demonstrate their ability to apply it. The ideal candidate combines the mindset of a data engineer/data scientist, technical consultant, and educator. You should be comfortable working hands-on with technology, presenting to a room of technical professionals, creating learning content, and continuously learning new products and technologies.
