You'll join the Crypto Inventory Operations team within Finance, which is responsible for monitoring Coinbase's operational crypto balances, supporting inventory operations processes, and improving controls and workflows across the business. As a Crypto Inventory Operations Intern, you'll gain exposure to how a leading crypto company manages crypto assets at scale. You'll work alongside experienced treasury professionals and partner with Product, Engineering, Accounting, Compliance, and Operations teams to help reduce operational risk, improve controls, and keep financial workflows running smoothly.
What you'll do:
Support daily crypto inventory operations by monitoring balances across Coinbase entities, assisting with data gathering for inventory activities, and escalating items that require follow-up Assist with the stablecoin process by monitoring balances and thresholds, reviewing alerts, and coordinating follow-up actions with Engineering partners Support Unclaimed Property operations by updating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets, organizing/saving supporting documents, and assisting with due diligence activities Build and improve dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools that increase visibility into crypto inventory, P&L exposure, and workflow status Execute research and process-improvement projects focused on reducing idle balances, improving automation, and documenting operational procedures Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows using automation and AI tools

Required Skills and Experience:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028 Demonstrated interest in crypto assets, digital asset operations, corporate treasury, accounting, or fintech through coursework, prior internships, or personal projects Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with the ability to build and maintain operational models and trackers Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document procedures, investigate issues, and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders Utilizes responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, control quality, and documentation Position ID: P78090 #LI-Hybrid Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target hourly rate for this position can range as detailed below.
