Purpose
The Lead Global Supply Manager – IT & Indirect Procurement is responsible for sourcing and supplier management across Divergent’s IT spend, including software, SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity, hardware, infrastructure, telecommunications, and IT services. IT is the primary focus, with additional indirect categories assigned based on business priorities. This is an individual contributor role for someone who can manage their work independently, build relationships with internal teams, and carry sourcing projects through to completion. We are looking for strong IT procurement experience, sound commercial judgment, and the flexibility to take on work in other indirect categories as needs change.

The Role
IT Sourcing and Supplier Management Work with IT leadership to plan sourcing activities around technology needs, upcoming projects, and budgets. Manage IT sourcing projects from defining requirements and evaluating suppliers through negotiation, contract execution, and renewal. Lead commercial negotiations for software, subscriptions, cloud services, and IT services. Work with Legal and the requesting team to finalize agreements, statements of work, and service levels. Review supplier pricing, licensing options, usage, and bundled offerings to ensure purchases meet business needs. Address renewal increases, license true-ups, payment terms, implementation costs, and deliverables during negotiations. Identify opportunities to reduce costs, eliminate unused licenses, and consolidate suppliers. Manage supplier performance and resolve pricing, service, and contract issues. Other Indirect Categories and Business Support Take responsibility for sourcing projects in other indirect categories as assigned, including professional services, HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Facilities, and Travel. Help requestors develop clear scopes of work, deliverables, schedules, and pricing requirements. Work with subject matter experts when sourcing a new or unfamiliar category. Work with IT, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and other teams to evaluate suppliers and address technical, budget, security, and compliance requirements. Coordinate supplier reviews and approvals, and present sourcing recommendations with clear pricing comparisons and commercial considerations. Procurement Execution Manage assigned sourcing projects, purchasing requests, and renewals independently. Keep work moving and follow through on commitments. Track upcoming renewals and contract notice deadlines. Keep Procurement leadership informed of progress, competing priorities, and issues that need a decision. Coordinate supplier onboarding, contract reviews, approvals, and purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approval authority. Maintain accurate supplier, contract, project, and savings records. Help improve procurement processes, reporting, and renewal tracking.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, or category management, with a strong background in IT procurement. Experience independently managing complex IT sourcing projects and negotiating multi-year enterprise software, SaaS, and technology agreements. Experience sourcing indirect categories beyond IT. Strong negotiation and analytical skills, including evaluating pricing and total cost of ownership. Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with internal teams and suppliers. Ability to manage multiple projects and renewals, adjust to changing priorities, and complete work with limited supervision. Experience using ERP, procurement, or contract management systems.
