The posting, in DoorDash's own words
archived Nov 5, 2026About the Team
The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched in 2020 and have since then built world-class operations to delight our customers with access to Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Pharmacy and Retail delivery through our marketplace. We focus on building new businesses and scale them - this team is focused on building our Pharmacy business from the ground up.
About the Role
As a Manager on the Pharmacy Strategy & Operations team, you will own the growth and merchant engine for DoorDash's Pharma business. You will build and execute the go-to-market plan that brings pharmacy merchants onto DoorDash, grows their volume, and keeps them. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and New Verticals platform teams to be successful. You'll be responsible for turning the pharmacy opportunity into a repeatable motion: planning and launching GTM programs, pitching and negotiating with merchants, and shaping how we speak to returning customers about pharmacy on DoorDash. You are the owner for knowing how Pharma merchants are performing, where the funnel leaks, and where to place the next bet to drive growth. You turn targets into operating plans, and plans into measurable outcomes. This role requires strong commercial instincts and comfort with data. You should move fluently between merchant-level detail and business-level economics, build frameworks for tradeoffs and prioritization, and familiarity with modeling different scenarios and outcomes. Experience using SQL and data visualization tools is a plus. You will report into the GM of Pharmacy S&O and be an individual contributor, with the opportunity to build a team in the future.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Strategize. From first principles, you’ll develop the optimal strategy for best serving all sides of the marketplace - dashers, merchants and consumers. Operate. Own tracking dashboards and manage week over week metrics to drive high quality operations. Analyze. Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate the economic, operational and strategic costs and benefits of various programs and experiments — and increasingly, use AI to accelerate and deepen that analysis. Experiment. You’ll transform strategies into operational experiments, product features and net-new tooling that create measurable outcomes. Build with AI. You'll use AI tools to automate manual processes, build new prototypes and develop product visions. You'll be expected to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI in your day-to-day work, and share what you learn with the team. Lead, collaborate and Influence. You’ll partner with and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, finance, product and engineering to launch initiatives to the finish line.
