Map talent markets and gather intelligence on competitors, locations, and candidate pools to inform sourcing strategies. Assess candidate alignment for specific roles, teams, and GitLab's values, and share clear recommendations with recruiting partners. Screen and qualify candidates, building and maintaining talent benches across multiple countries in the APJ region to ensure strong pipeline depth and readiness for evolving business needs. Deliver a strong candidate experience through thoughtful outreach, timely communication, and professional relationship building. Continuously improve sourcing workflows, outreach approaches, and research methods to increase efficiency and quality. About the team
The Talent Acquisition team at GitLab helps the company grow by finding people who can contribute to our mission and thrive in our all-remote environment. Within that group, sourcing plays a key role in reaching talent that may not be actively applying, especially in competitive markets and business-critical functions. You'll work with teammates who care deeply about candidate experience, thoughtful partnership, and inclusive hiring practices. The team values clear communication, strong market insight, and steady iteration in how we work. This role is especially important as GitLab continues to grow go-to-market teams in APJ, where strong regional knowledge and effective collaboration across time zones can help teams hire with more focus and confidence.
