Start your engineering career by turning AI hardware designs into real systems you can test, improve and see perform. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Mech/Thermal Platform team, you will help design, test and improve advanced AI hardware and data center systems. This role is built for someone early in their engineering career. You will work across 3D CAD, prototype evaluation, lab testing, data analysis, troubleshooting and documentation. Your work will help turn engineering ideas into reliable hardware platforms. You will learn from experienced mechanical, thermal, hardware and systems engineers while owning defined design and validation tasks. You will build practical judgement by seeing how decisions perform in the lab. This is a rare chance to start your career close to the hardware challenges powering AI adoption.
The team and culture
You will join the Mech/Thermal Platform team in Austin, working closely with engineers across mechanical, thermal, electrical, hardware, systems and manufacturing disciplines. Work moves from requirements and concepts into design reviews, prototype builds, lab validation and verified improvements. You will be trusted with clear ownership, supported by engineers who explain context and expect thoughtful questions. Decisions are made through evidence, test data, design review and clear technical recommendations. The team values engineers who think big, act fast, take responsibility and speak up. You will be encouraged to build confidence, learn unfamiliar tools and contribute from the start.
