The posting, in Graphcore's own words
archived Oct 21, 2026About the job
Own the factory quality that takes Graphcore’s AI hardware from first builds into production. Based in Hsinchu or Taipei, Taiwan, you’ll be Graphcore Quality’s lead contact for assigned contract manufacturers, working regularly on site. Your ownership spans assembly, integration, inspection, test and rework, connecting factory detail with the demands of new product introduction. By closing critical risks before build milestones, you’ll help teams ramp production with controls they can trust. You’ll turn yield, defect and rework trends into targeted improvements that strengthen manufacturing performance and prevent recurring quality issues. You’ll lead process audits and investigations, taking manufacturing and supplier issues from containment through corrective action to verified closure. Each build will deepen your understanding of Graphcore hardware and help you carry lessons into stronger processes across factory sites.
The team and culture
You’ll join Manufacturing Operations’ Quality team, working with colleagues in Bristol, Cambridge and Hsinchu. Their expertise spans customer, supply chain and product quality, alongside compliance, governance and assurance. You’ll align Graphcore stakeholders and factory leaders around evidence, clear priorities and practical recovery plans. Speak up early about material risks, bring options and agree owners and deadlines to turn decisions into action.
