Pearce Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Journeyman to join our growing team. This role supports a wide range of projects including commercial construction, infrastructure upgrades, EV charging installations, and mission-critical power systems (UPS, generators, and data centers). The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or leading small crews while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

K ey Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments - Read and interpret one-line diagrams, blueprints, and specifications - Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, and equipment - Support installation and commissioning of UPS systems, generators, and EV charging stations - Perform electrical testing, startup, and system verification - Ensure compliance with NEC codes, safety standards, and company procedures - Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades - Mentor apprentices and support workforce development
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific or ability to reciprocate) - 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience - Experience with critical power systems, data centers, or EV infrastructure preferred - Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety practices - Ability to read drawings and perform layout independently - Proficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and installation practices - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
Preferred Experience:
- UPS systems (installation, maintenance, or startup) - Generator systems and transfer switches - EV charging infrastructure installation - Data center or mission-critical environments At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. This pay range reflects our commitment to pay equity and compliance with state and federal pay transparency laws.
