As a Product Quality Engineer at Peloton, you will be responsible for ensuring our hardware products are designed, manufactured, and tested to a high quality standard so that our members can continue to access Peloton’s fitness experiences throughout the life of their products. You will need to identify major risks starting from the earliest project stages and define quality plans to mitigate and control these risks prior to launch. You will also be responsible for leading investigations of top issues from root cause analysis through to corrective action, and documenting learnings to prevent recurrence of similar issues in the future. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Service and Repair, and other teams starting from concept through to mass production and sustaining. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON Partner with multi-functional teams through early risk assessments (using FMEA/NUD processes and past lessons learned). Implement mitigation strategies and test plans to address and close potential risks. Lead response to quality escalations and drive complex issues to closure using methodical 8D/RCCA approaches. Define, implement, and audit quality processes at our FATP sites to ensure final products meet quality targets. Communicate Quality risks, mitigations, and next steps to the leadership team and other key stakeholders. Influence partners to implement quality improvements for field performance. This role requires domestic and international travel up to 30%. YOU BRING TO PELOTON Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or other technical discipline. 4+ years of experience in product development with 2+ years specifically in a Quality role for complex electro-mechanical products (e.g., Fitness Equipment, Medical Devices, Automotive, or Consumer Electronics). Demonstrated understanding of NPI (New Product Introduction) cycles and how to successfully drive quality improvements during development. Track record of resolving business-critical quality issues. Ability to develop specifications and test plans, and translate test results into product recommendations. Familiar with statistical data analysis and related software tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Understanding of quality tools and methodologies (eg., DOE, MSA, Hypothesis testing, GR&R, CpK). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build consensus and influence decisions at all levels of an organization. BONUS QUALIFICATIONS Advanced Degree in Science or Engineering. Six-Sigma Greenbelt training or certification. #LI-KN1 #LI-Hybrid The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range $95,666 — $114,800 USD
