Production Engineering Manager Redwood Materials is seeking a Manager of Production Engineering to play a pivotal role in building out our Battery Materials Campus. The manager will work intimately with the team to manage high-visibility/value projects and will apply technical / leadership skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of the projects. The final job title and level will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities will include:

Build and lead engineering teams that work in closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure that our processes are: safe, sustainable and profitable. Use data to set strategy for optimization, debottlenecking and improvement of industrial scale processes Define engineering workflows and plans for the team. Lead design concept/development efforts, working directly with engineers to vet/validate multiple different proposed solutions. Leading and participating in cross-functional teams to develop equipment Leading and participating in research and development to meet strategic objectives Finalize design scope from initial concepts and budgets, define initial assumptions. Partner with the project management team to identify and document all project design milestones and deliverables. Continuously monitor and measure all project design processes and activities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks, and problems and provide corrective action options to drive to resolution. Serve as a final reviewer for all designs, ensuring simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and functionality/robustness.
