About the team + role
We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards. Robinhood is looking for a Director of Corporate Development to help accelerate our roadmap by identifying, vetting, and executing acquisitions, strategic investments, and other transactions. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of Robinhood's strategic priorities and market landscape, and partner with GMs and senior leadership to identify high-potential opportunities across our existing and future product verticals and geographies. You will help build Robinhood's network of founders, investors, and bankers, and develop relationships that may lead to acquisitions or strategic investments. You will work closely with deal sponsors and cross-functional leaders across Robinhood on all aspects of M&A, including business case construction, valuation analysis, deal structuring, negotiation, due diligence, execution, and post-close integration. You will present opportunities to company leadership and the Board of Directors, facilitate key decisions, and provide post-acquisition performance updates. The ideal candidate is strategic, relationship-oriented, analytical, and results-oriented, and thrives at a public company that still operates like a startup. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected 3 days per week. At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.
