We are looking for a hybrid professional who combines the rigor of an in-house lawyer with the people-first mindset of an HR Business Partner. This role sits at the intersection of legal risk management and employee experience, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff on both legal matters and people-related strategy. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable drafting a contract and coaching a manager through a difficult performance conversation.

Legal Counsel Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on employment law. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (employment agreements, NDAs, employment related contracts). Ensure company policies, handbooks, and processes comply with local labor law and regulatory requirements. Manage or coordinate with external counsel on litigation, disputes, or regulatory inquiries. Advise leadership on legal risk related to hiring, terminations, restructuring, and disciplinary actions. Monitor changes in employment law and update internal policies accordingly.
HR Business Partner Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to align people strategy with business goals. Guide managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes. Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, promotions, restructuring, offboarding. Act as a trusted advisor and confidential point of contact for employee relations issues. Design and implement HR policies, ensuring they are both legally sound and people-friendly. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Ops on workforce planning and organizational design. Support compensation, benefits, and compliance-related people processes.
