Responsibilities

This position will have an stronger initial focus of improving member experience and contributing to different external tests for multiple departments. Supporting all teams through internal tools is still part of the expected ownership. Implement new features and change requests while ensuring quality and performance Deliver high-quality and maintainable code, collaborating closely with teammates to achieve high PR acceptance rates Plan and execute migrations with zero or minimal downtime Communicate effectively with other teams to refine specifications and set expectations Troubleshoot issues and respond promptly to help requests from other teams Personality You take pride in craftmanship. The whole purpose of our website is to help people find the best product for them You have the drive to push projects forward, seeking feedback and focusing on what will bring the most value to users You are organized and are able to manage multiple tasks efficiently Qualification/Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 3-5 years relevant experience in a full-stack or backend development Work Experience with Ruby on Rails is a requirement Practical experience maintaining or supporting infrastructure in AWS is an asset Knowledge of VueJS and is an asset Fast learner with strong problem solving skills We are looking for candidates with proven experience, who can be expected to ramp up quickly and establish themselves as independent contributors within a year. Fullstack Developer I Early-career contributor building fundamentals Salary range: $80-115K Typical Work Experience Range: 0-4 years You can take well-defined tasks through to completion, with support when the work is new or the path is unclear You ask good questions, keep people informed, and follow through on your commitments You are still building experience with larger/complex problems and the lifecycle of a production application Fullstack Developer II Independent contributor who can be trusted to deliver solid work Salary Range: $103-135K Typical Work Experience Range: 4-9 years You can take ownership of projects in most parts of our codebase You work directly with stakeholders to clarify goals, refine specs, and challenge scope when needed You know which decisions need wider team input and can bring options and tradeoffs to the team You help improve the codebase and the way the team works Fullstack Developer Senior Experienced contributor driving impact at the system and team level. Salary Range: $125-160K Typical Work Experience Range: 8+ years You can take on complex work, starting with only an expected outcome You make decisions that hold up over time and consider the wider impact on the system You treat technical debt as a deliberate tradeoff: sometimes it helps us move faster; sometimes it needs paying down before it starts to limit us You help less experienced developers grow and make the team stronger over time Does this position interest you?
