About the Role
Rubrik is looking for a strategic, technically deep Staff Product Manager to own Rubrik's virtual offerings — Rubrik Edge and Rubrik Virtual Cluster. These are Rubrik delivered as software, running on infrastructure our customers already operate, deployed today across thousands of sites worldwide. This is a portfolio role: multiple products, distinct installed bases and buying motions, and the opportunity to shape them into one coherent product line. You will own the strategy and roadmap across the portfolio, the virtualization and storage ecosystems underpinning these products, and the standards by which they are qualified, deployed, and supported. Virtualization maximizes customer choice in compute and storage, and flexibility trades against control. The more freedom customers have in how they build, the more deliberate we must be about our commitments and how we validate them — and working that trade-off well is the essential challenge of the role.
