About the role:
Samsara is seeking an innovative Software Engineer with hands-on production experience building AI agents and automation tooling for customer support environments. In this role, you will be a key player on our Post-Sales Systems team, owning the design, development, and scaling of AI-powered agents — including deep agents built within S+GPT and our AI Hub platform — that automate and enhance support workflows and reduce agent workload. You will take end-to-end ownership of AI agent and automation capabilities, from identifying support workflow gaps to architecting the underlying integrations that power production solutions embedded in Zendesk and adjacent support tooling. You will collaborate closely with Support leadership, Customer Success, and other Post-Sales engineers, transforming real operational pain points into reliable, scalable, production-ready AI solutions. This is a remote role open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area..
