ABOUT THE TEAM:
PCS helps small businesses find and take the right credit. The Credit Outcome vertical is the heaviest part of PCS: it owns the journey from a business's intent to a successful credit outcome, measured by our north-star metric, % 1st Outcome. It spans several markets and combines market-focused product teams (Scaled Markets, New Markets, India) with horizontal teams (Sales Engine and Platform). You will work hand in hand with a dedicated Engineering Director, Design, Product Operations, Analytics and Commercial Heads.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Vision, strategy and outcomes Own the vertical's north star: set the strategy and roadmap to grow % 1st Outcome, balancing margin, efficiency and member experience. Place the big bets: prioritise across routing, human connection, integrations and decisioning (e.g. pre-qualification), and be explicit about what we will not do. Regional focus: make sound trade-offs between markets, including scaling established markets and building new ones such as India. Leadership and team growth Lead and grow product leaders: hire, coach and develop Product Leads and Senior PMs, giving each a self-contained area of the business to own. Clear ownership: ensure one accountable PM/EM pair per workstream, with no ambiguity on who owns what. Operating rhythm: run planning, OKRs and reviews that connect team work to vertical and company goals. Partnership and delivery Engineering partnership: work as a true pair with the Engineering Director on roadmap, capacity and technical investment, including platform health. Cross-functional influence: align Design, Data, Risk & Compliance, Commercial and Operations on priorities and launches. Data and experimentation: use funnel analytics and experiments to find friction, make decisions and show impact in commercial terms. Applied AI: identify where automation and AI (e.g. lead scoring, sales tooling) can raise conversion and efficiency.
