The posting, in Navan's own words
archived Oct 22, 2026Navan has transformed the corporate travel, payment, and expense landscape by consistently prioritizing user needs. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Enterprise Team , you will be a technical leader helping to build the "operating system" of our corporate travel platform. Our team owns the critical infrastructure that allows companies to function globally—managing everything from granular travel policies and dynamic approval workflows to user identity and enterprise-grade analytics. This is a high-impact role where you will bridge the gap between complex backend logic and intuitive user experiences. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and designers to build sophisticated configuration tools, real-time dashboards, and seamless integration flows that empower our customers to manage their travel programs at scale.
What You’ll Do
Architect User Experiences: Drive the frontend architecture for our Admin and User portals. You will build highly responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces that handle complex data sets and configuration flows. Build Enterprise-Grade Workflows: Create intuitive, state-heavy UIs for complex business domains—such as configuring dynamic travel policies, visualizing multi-tier approval chains, and managing user roles—while developing the backend API endpoints to support them. Collaborate on Design & UX: Partner closely with our Product Design team to implement pixel-perfect interfaces, contribute to our shared UI component libraries, and establish frontend best practices across the engineering organization. Develop Supporting Backend Services: Build and evolve the robust Java/Spring Boot backend services, APIs, and data integrations necessary to power your frontend features. Own Features End-to-End: Take technical ownership of a problem domain from the user interface down to the database, facilitating the design, development, and launch of key features that directly impact our users. Drive the Vision: Partner with engineering and product leadership to identify user pain points, plan the long-term technical roadmap for the frontend architecture, and serve as a subject matter expert on UI/UX engineering. Champion Best Practices: Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by writing high-quality code, implementing robust frontend testing strategies (e.g., unit, integration, and E2E testing), mentoring other engineers, and advocating for operational reliability.
