The Role
We're just considering candidates based in Ontario, Montreal or Quebec. As a Product Owner / Project Manager , you will act as the primary owner of product requirements and backlog management while providing essential project management leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle. We're looking for a Product Owner / Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of product ownership, agile delivery, and stakeholder management. This is a hybrid role designed for someone who can translate business needs into actionable requirements while also ensuring successful project execution across multiple stakeholders and workstreams. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, an external creative agency, and a cross-functional delivery team including Solution Architects, Developers, Analytics Specialists, Content Strategists, and QA professionals. Your focus will be on creating clarity, aligning priorities, and enabling successful execution through well-defined requirements and effective project coordination. Given the lean team structure, you will play a critical role in balancing both product ownership and project delivery responsibilities within an integrated delivery model.
Product Ownership
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives and delivery goals. Gather, analyze, and synthesize requirements from client stakeholders and project partners. Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements. Facilitate backlog refinement and readiness activities to prepare work for upcoming development cycles. Partner with technical and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities. Ensure requirements are sufficiently detailed and validated to support efficient implementation.
