The subteam for this role will be:
The Onboard developer platform team builds tools/solutions that enable faster model training, quality evaluation, simulation so that Waymo engineers can develop better autonomous driving models and systems. You will:
Understand the problem current LPM model is trying to solve along with its details Extend current reinforcement learning infrastructure and conduct experiments on our RL system. Tune parameters and compare with existing results Identify promising new RL technologies and apply on Waymo problems
You have:
Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in software engineering, , or a related technical field Fundamental understanding of and reinforcement learning 2+ years of project experience involves coding and realized achievements (you are proud of the results)
