ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Facilities Operations Supervisor at SpaceXSI Memphis, you will oversee the maintenance and performance of critical data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and environmental systems. You will lead a team of Facilities Operations Technicians, driving hands-on technical operations, team leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our data center. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and mentor a team of Facilities Operations Technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and backup systems. Develop, implement, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules, equipment calibration, and system performance monitoring. Create and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency and efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to streamline equipment intake, installation, and maintenance processes. Utilize internal applications for inventory and asset management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Manage critical equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution and detailed documentation. Partner with cross-functional teams to support seamless data center operations. Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Provide on-call support and respond promptly to critical facilities incidents.
