Position Overview:
team.blue is looking for a skilled Datacenter Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The team's primary responsibility is the operation and design of our 5 datacenters — that is, running our virtualisation, storage and network platforms. The team's most important task is to deliver a reliable platform for our end customers and partners. Together with the team's two other Datacenter Engineers, you will be responsible for the physical part of the delivery to our customers, as well as the daily operation of all equipment. This includes, for example: • Installing and decommissioning physical equipment • Baselining servers (firmware updates) • Building new datacenters and improving existing ones • RMA tasks (typically on servers) In addition, there will be tasks such as inventory management of new and spare equipment. Naturally, we will make sure you get a proper introduction to the work — partly through your 18 talented colleagues in the team, and by giving you the best possible conditions for staying up to date with new knowledge in your field.
